My Review of “Reign”

by Donna Grant

This is the third and final book in the Kindred series by Donna Grant. Although it can be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading it as the last of the series.

This was a fantastic finale to the series.  Malene (Dagny) was the Lady of the Varroki (a magical people) and has been missing for over a year after a battle with the Coven Leader.  Armir is her second in command, and his job was to find the new Lady after the previous one passes away.  These Ladies have to leave behind everything they know and end up living a difficult and isolated life.  Things were different for Malene and Armir, and they became friends and eventually developed feelings for each other.  Just as they were about to admit those feelings to each other, the Great Battle occurred, and Malene disappeared and was feared dead by most.  But not Armir.  He went on a quest to find her, but when he discovers her,  she has no memory of him or her life before waking as Dagny.

Will she regain her memories?  Will they have their HEA?  Well, this is a romance by Donna Grant, so yes, but how that happens will take you on an amazing and perilous journey with them.
