This story was just what I needed to feel the magic of the holidays this year! We get to visit with one of our favorite couples, whose stories span the Dragon Kings, Warriors and Reapers series of Donna Grant (finally culminating in Inferno). As winter and the holidays grow closer, both Con and Rhi are feeling a bit restless and agitated over the situation on Zora. Rhi LOVES to decorate for Christmas (Gods, I wish I had the ability to use magic in my decorating!) and Con proves his deep, abiding love for his mate by whisking her away for a magical (literally) holiday interlude. Their passion and the way they care for each other is a balm for my soul. And the surprise at the end!!!! 10/10 highly recommend to fans of Grant’s Dragon Kings series and anyone who’d love a warm, magical, spicy holiday tale. WARNING: You’ll want to binge all of her books afterward!
